Use it when you want to recover files you deleted.
It does the job, but if you want to be sure to recover your files use it as soon as possible!
Don't forget to back important file in multiple location.
Windows live (skydrive) gives you 5 Go of free space (use live mesh), and Dropbox gives you 2 Go.
