5 reviews for Google Chrome

  1. Kallaide Says:

    Best web browser available!

  2. Google Chrome User Says:

Google Chrome is quite different compared to many other browsers, but have some similarities. For example, application shortcuts, Google Gears intergration, and now extensions and themes. Anything new? No. Tech Blog Lifehacker has a post on how to incorporate many of chrome's features into Firefox. Safari also has the same Webkit Java Engine as Chrome, I believe it's called.
So, is it the best? I can't say. It fits my purposes. That's up to the user.

  3. Mark Funton Says:

Sure it's relatively fast, but it's easily the most basic, feature-less browser availiable :(

  4. Joesph fritz Says:

Not a fan of google's efforts, would give a higher rating but it keeps crashing on my machine

  5. Pete Says:

Absolutely the best. I used firefox for years, but chrome blows it out of the water. Way faster and definitely not featureless as other reviewers have said. Best: Chrome remembers what sites you visit most often and fills in websites before you finish typing, usually after 1-2 letters.
Negative: not great for streaming high bandwidth stuff. Chrome takes up a lot of processor space, each new tab is created as a new process so it will seem a little ridiculous if you open task manager.
